Splash Park--home edition

We're headed into a heatwave in the 90's this week so I blew up the kiddie pool and filled it with water from the hose. After dinner, Nora was finally allowed to take a swim.

She was SO excited. I would post a movie, but it's mostly just her splashing excitedly. She didn't really say anything.

When I helped her into her two piece suit she said "Mom, we have to put on more." I filled her in that most people only where one swim suit at a time. When she plays dress up she puts on as many as possible at once!

I was hoping the splash park in Middleton would be open this week, but it's not open until Memorial Day, so we'll have to make do with the sprinkler in the back yard.

Where in the house is Cheeto - installment 4

I opened the cupboard and he jumped right in amongst the kitchen gadgets.

...and then he jumped out

Incidentally the cats are in the kitchen most of their waking hours (not my waking hours, which number many more). We have instituted the "beef up BOB" diet. I'm hoping the vet can recommend something tomorrow so I don't have to feed him quite so many times. I get mobbed every time I walk by the kitchen these days by furry four footed creatures.

Tough kid

Hey Dad! I got my first black eye. These pictures really don't do it justice though.

Oh, but you should see the other kid (table)!

BFF's

Reading in the big chair with Bob

These two go way back. When Nora was a baby, Bob figured out the only way he'd be photographed anymore is if he sat really close to her and it's been that way ever since.
